Nata nel 2000 dalla trentennale esperienza della famiglia Magagna nel settore della protezione solare, La Giulia Group srl si annovera tra le aziende leader nella produzione e commercializzazione di componenti e accessori per tende da sole.

L'esperienza imprenditoriale della famiglia Magagna in questo settore copre oltre trent'anni di attività, dalla metà degli anni Settanta, quando il capofamiglia Antonio, insieme ad altri soci, fonda la Mamir. Alla fine degli anni Ottanta si verifica la svolta: è infatti nel 1989 che avviene la trasformazione in New Mamir srl, azienda che diventa di esclusiva proprietà e gestione della famiglia Magagna. Nel corso degli anni Novanta l'azienda consolida la sua posizione nel mercato locale e nel Nord Italia, rivolgendosi a poco a poco anche ai vicini mercati sloveno e croato. La produzione si amplia notevolmente, coprendo non solo il settore delle tende da sole, ma specializzandosi anche nella produzione di grandi coperture e strutture particolari.

Il successo riscosso sul mercato incoraggia la famiglia a intraprendere il cammino verso la realizzazione di un nuovo ambizioso progetto, coltivato per anni, la creazione della fonderia di famiglia. E' nel 2000 che avviene la seconda, grande svolta: viene fondata La Giulia Group srl, che si dedica alla produzione e commercializzazione di componenti e accessori per tende da sole.

La Giulia Group srl  - established in 2000 as the latest achievement of the Magagna's family 30-year-long experience in the sun protection sector - deals with the production and marketing of components and accessories for sun awnings and has become, in just a few years, one of the leading in this field.

The Magagna family's business involvement in the sun protection sector goes back over 30 years, to the Mid-Seventies, when the head of the family, Antonio, together with other partners, founded Mamir. The turning point came at the end of the Eighties: 1989 was, in fact, the year that saw Mamir transformed into New Mamir srl, a company owned and run exclusively by the Magagna family.

During the Nineties, the company consolidated its position on the local market and throughout Northern Italy, before gradually moving into the neighboring Slovenian and Croatian markets, too. The production range was extended considerably, until it not only covered the sun awning sector, but also specialized in the production of large coverings and special structures.

The success won on the market encourages the family to take the way toward the realization of an ambitious new project, which had been cultivated for years. In 2000 a second, major turning point came: La Giulia Group srl, a family-owned foundry, was founded.
